Victrons new 48V inverter/charger

The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid.
It has all the features of the MultiPlus, plus an external current transformer option to implement PowerControl and PowerAssist and to optimize self-consumption with external current sensing (max. 32A).  It also has all the features of the MultiGrid with built-in anti-islanding and an increasingly long list of country approvals.

PowerAssist

The MultiPlus-II will prevent overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery.

ESS: Energy Storage Systems

The MultiPlus-II is the key component in a Victron ESS system, providing the flexibility to combine with MPPT Solar Chargers or Grid-tie PV Inverters. For examples and more detailed information see the ESS (Energy Storage System) manual.

Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function)

In the event of a grid failure, or when shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter within the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.

Remote Monitoring and Control

Monitor and control your Multi and system or systems' locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and free VRM portal website. Access can be from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC for multiple operating systems. Victron MK3-USB Configuration Interface

The MK3-USB allows the following products to connect to a computer for configuration and firmware updates using the Victron VE Configure software

Multi, MultiGrid, MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, Quattro, Inverter/Charger settings in ECOmulti, EasySolar, EasyPlus, and other Inverters with a VE.Bus communication port.

Counsider purchasing a Cat 5 ethernet cable to go with this product if you don't already have one. You won't be able to connect the MK3 interface to an inverter product without an ethernet cable.

Supported Platforms

The VEConfigure tools are only available for Windows. For Mac, there is a (not officially supported) work around available.

The ET112 (for single phase max. 100A) Energy Meters are typically used in an Energy Storage System.

To measure the power and energy of the whole application at the distribution box. Or to measure the output of a PV Inverter, to display the data on the Color Control GX and the VRM Portal.

The RS485 to USB interface connects products such as the energy meters to a Victron GX device for communication. This model is 5 metres long.

This interface can also be used to update the firmware on certain models of BYD battery.

**Please note: these fuse holders are designed to be opened in a specific way (see attached diagram in downloads section for guidance). Failure to follow the correct method will result in damage to the fuse holder, which is not covered by warranty.**

Pylon battery cable accessory kit for use with all the different battery models. Each battery unit includes the interlink battery cables for parallel connection to another battery, whereas this pack is for connecting to the inverter/charger.

Please check the number of cable packs you need, according to your inverter/charge specifications. Each cable pack is rated at 100A continuous, and 125A peak.

This cable pack includes the following cables:

2 x 2m long power cables (1x positive and 1x negative) The cables are 25mm² and have an M8 eyelet on one end of each cable.

Use this cable to connect a CAN-bus enabled battery, not from Victron, to a Victron system. Types A - normally for Pylontech C series batteries and BYD battery applications. Please review the battery manual for details on which cable to use for which brand/model of battery.

The GX Touch wall mount accessory allows easy mounting of the GX Touch on a solid wall. No drilling or cut-out is required, other than the three screws that fix the wall mount onto the wall.
