This outdoor rated combiner box kit is for safely combining 5 strings of solar panels by fusing both the positive and the negative cables onto feeder terminal outputs that can accept from 6 - 25mm² cable. The box comes fitted with Din rail and 16 X M20 glands with a cable outer diameter range of 5 - 10mm. The enclosure features knock out discs so no drilling is required. Just punch out the number of gland spaces required, and fit the glands. It is possible to mount the box without puncturing it thus maintaining the IP waterproof rating.

The enclosure features knock out discs so no drilling is required. Just punch out the number of gland spaces required, and fit the glands. You must select the fuse holder, fuses of choice plus (ask us if in doubt) and extra glands if required for your system. See related items tab above to see the breakers that fit. If fusing positive conductors only, select Din rail block to combine the negatives. It is possible to mount the box without puncturing it thus maintaining the IP waterproof rating.

Use the feeder terminal to take a single feed from the bus bar in the solar combiner box to a solar charge controller for example. The feeder terminal accepts from 6 - 25mm² cable and the pin length is 15mm. Consider using a ferrule or flat pin lug on the end of the cable go into the female end of the terminal. Made in Germany
