Proven reliability
The full bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years. The inverters are short circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature. High start-up power Needed to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or electric tools. ECO mode When in ECO mode, the inverter will switch to standby when the load decreases below a preset value (min load: 15W). Once in standby the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable, default: every 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on.
Remote on/off
A remote on/off switch can be connected to a two pole connector, or between battery plus and the left hand contact of the two pole connector

The XTRA tracer models have a current limiting function, you can connect 1.5 times the rated power to the controller so if your on a budget you can use a smaller controller with more panels so that you get more power in winter or low light but don't risk overloading the controller in the summer. The output will be limited to the max listed above.

XTRA series are advanced maximum power point tracking (MPPT) charge controllers, for off grid photovoltaic systems, with display unit.
In order to maximise the energy harvest from PV arrays and simultaneously minimise the power loss within a wide range of operating conditions, XTRA series apply an advanced smart algorithm which results in up to 30% higher efficient charging, compared to a conventional pulse width modulation (PWM) charge controller. The idea of a "voltage sensitive relay" (VSR) or "voltage controlled relay" (VCR) as they are sometimes known, is to simplify the installation, no connection is made to the vehicles alternator .
Simply connect this relay to the towing vehicles positive battery terminal (via a fuse!) and link to the leisure battery
The relay monitors the towing vehicles battery voltage and when it reaches 13.3vdc, the relay switches on and supplies charging current to the aux. circuits. When the engine is stopped and the voltage of the vehicles main battery drops below 12.8vdc the unit switches off.
Only 3 connections are required to the unit and as such it can be fitted in next to no time .

Use with lithium batteries: The MT50 ( sv 2.18 version) can be used to program a lithium battery for our XTRA controllers. However it cannot do this for the Tracer-AN 60A and 100A. You must use a PC cable and software for programming lithium.

Unit best used for housing 1 x AC RCBos, string fuse holders and fuses up to 32a as opposed to DC Din Mount breakers.
Best practice would be to use this unit with no bigger than 6mm square cable and appropriately sized breakers if you are using it with glands for a water tight fit. If you are using it in an environment that is already dry and dust free the use of glands may not be necessary.
