This a high specification Victron and Fogstar mobile off grid system and is able to charge from Solar, AC hook-up or DC from the alternator.

The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid.
It has all the features of the MultiPlus, plus an external current transformer option to implement PowerControl and PowerAssist and to optimize self-consumption with external current sensing (max. 32A). It also has all the features of the MultiGrid with built-in anti-islanding and an increasingly long list of country approvals.
The MultiPlus-II will prevent overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery.
The MultiPlus-II is the key component in a Victron ESS system, providing the flexibility to combine with MPPT Solar Chargers or Grid-tie PV Inverters. For examples and more detailed information see the ESS (Energy Storage System) manual.
In the event of a grid failure, or when shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter within the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.
Monitor and control your Multi and system or systems' locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and free VRM portal website. The Lynx Distributor contains a positive and a negative busbar. The positive busbar has four fuse-protected connections with fuse monitoring. The negative busbar has four connections and a ground connection. It is part of the Lynx Distribution system and is available in two versions, with M8 or M10 busbar. Note that M10 refers to the busbar connection joints where the modules are connected to each other. The fuse and cable connections are always M8. The Lynx Distributor has a power LED and four fuse status indication LEDs. If connected to a Lynx Smart BMS, up to 4 Lynx Distributors can send fuse status information to the Lynx Smart BMS. This feature is not available when connected to a Lynx Shunt VE.Can.

The SmartShunt is an all in one battery monitor, only without a display. Your phone acts as the display. The SmartShunt connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect App on your phone (or tablet) and you can conveniently read out all monitored battery parameters, like state of charge, time to go, historical information and much more.
Alternatively the SmartShunt can be connected and be read by a GX device. Connection to the SmartShunt is made via a VE.Direct cable.
The SmartShunt is a good alternative for a BMV battery monitor, especially for systems where battery monitoring is needed but less wiring and clutter is wanted.
The SmartShunt is equipped with Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port and a connection that can be used for: monitoring a second battery, midpoint monitoring or a temperature sensor.

The MK3-USB allows the following products to connect to a computer for configuration and firmware updates using the Victron VE Configure software
Multi, MultiGrid, MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, Quattro, Inverter/Charger settings in ECOmulti, EasySolar, EasyPlus, and other Inverters with a VE.Bus communication port.
Counsider purchasing a Cat 5 ethernet cable to go with this product if you don't already have one. You won't be able to connect the MK3 interface to an inverter product without an ethernet cable.

Best practice would be to use this unit with no bigger than 6mm square cable and appropriately sized breakers if you are using it with glands for a water tight fit. If you are using it in an environment that is already dry and dust free the use of glands may not be necessary.
