Please see lhe attached schematic picture for a general suggestion of how this kit would go together using the components listed.
This kit assumes a 2m length of 10mm cable between each battery and the Ctek; and that your battery terminals are M8 in size. If you require a different length or cable end lug size for your battery please contact us.
Three 32A breakers have been included, one for each DC connection (PV, Alternator. Battery)
Please see the Cable size and Fuse Guide below to size the alternator cable:
Dual input 20A charger with selectable charge voltages
The D250SE is a fully automatic, 5 step charger that supplies up to 20A of power to any 12V lead-acid or lithium* service battery from 40–300Ah. It has selectable charge algorithms for AGM and lithium* batteries and can use power through its dual input from alternator, solar panel and wind power. When the service battery is fully charged, the D250SE will automatically redirect maintenance charge power to the starter battery. The D250SE can maintain a stable output up to 20A to vehicles fitted with smart ECU controlled alternators and also has a temperature sensor for optimised charging, regardless of weather conditions. *) 12V lithium batteries (LiFePO4, Li-Fe, Li-iron, LFP)

Fitted with Staubli 4-6mm MC4s - Staubli MC4 Link
Wire size range: 6mm2
The set includes 6 brackets (4 corners and 2 sides) and cable entry gland.
These mounts are ideal for fixing our solar panels to any vehicle, caravan, boat, barge or even outbuildings and sheds to provide a strong, secure and aesthetically pleasing fixing method.
The mounts will support the solar panel at 25mm above the surface enabling airflow underneath which keeps it cool, ensuring the solar panel functions at it's optimum.
If using with panels equal to or under 175W, you can secure the panel by screwing or bolting it to the mounting corner. The corner itself can be fixed with a good strong adhesive like 'Sikaflex' or 'CT1' which we sell in black white or clear. See related products tab. This removes the need to drill holes in your roof!
You must ensure the roof is clean and dry before attaching. If a painted roof ensure the paint is not flakey.
If you are using panels over 175W in size we recommend that not only do you bolt or screw the panel to the corners but additionally bolt or screw the mounting to the roof as well.
If fitting any panel to a vehicle we would recommend the belt and braces approach of bolting or screwing the panel to the mounts and additionally bolt or screw the mounts to the roof. The strength of these systems is only as strong as the roof type or paint on your roof!
Notes:
- ABS mounts raise the panel by 25mm. Edge of panel to edge of ABS is 55mm.
- You need to purchase additional self tappers or bolts to fit the panel to the ABS mounts, see below for one method which is a good tutorial to get you started...
Best practice would be to use this unit with no bigger than 6mm square cable and appropriately sized breakers if you are using it with glands for a water tight fit. If you are using it in an environment that is already dry and dust free the use of glands may not be necessary.
This is an empty unit, you must add the breakers you need to your cart as well, see related items tab above to see the breakers that fit.
You will also need suitable cable entry glands - please see related products tab.
