Please Note: The Varta LFD range are a sealed maintenance free battery. However they are a flooded (wet) lead acid battery and like other sealed batteries such as AGM they have a vent valve. Therefore if the battery was accidentality tipped on its side or punctured it would leak dilute sulphuric acid out.
