Backup only generator - this is designed as a back up only generator and not for running all the time
This generator can be auto started from a relay. This can be used from systems like Outback MPPTs and inverters. You can also wire a relay from the load terminals of a tracer.
To auto start wire a relay triggered from the charge controller or inverter into to back of key start system. This has 3 wires, wire the start and run wires together and join to 1 terminal to the switch side of the relay, and the remaining wire to the other terminal of the switch side of the relay.

The improved AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) limits voltage fluctuation to a very low level and ensures smooth and steady output. Additionally, the AVR features built-in overload protection and will automatically shut off the output at 110% of rated load.

ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch)
ATS continually monitors utility power and voltage/frequency fall below acceptable levels. It commands the generator to start automatically and connect generator power to the intended load. Once proper utility power is restored, the ATS stops the generator and reconnects utility power. The ATS has been designed to be installed either inside or outside the generator set.
Working Out Wattage Requirements
For each appliance, identify how many watts it requires and then add 20% for resistive loads or add 50% for inductive loads.
Identifying Load Types
Resistive loads have no moving parts (e.g. kettles, light bulbs and heaters). Inductive loads have moving parts (e.g. motors, air compressors and pressure washers).
