These battery terminal adaptors allow you to convert female M8 threaded terminals, found on many batteries, to standard round, tapered SAE battery posts.

M8 terminals are commonly used for connection of a ring terminal or eyelet directly to a battery using an M8 bolt, but this restricts the number of cable connections that can be made. These adaptors enable you to replicate traditional SAE posts and allow the fitting of battery clamps which can be purchased in several different configurations and can provide multiple connection options.

These adaptors are also useful if you are replacing an existing battery that has SAE posts with one that has M8 terminals. These adaptors then allow you to use the existing battery clamps on your new battery and avoid having to re-wire the battery connections.

The adaptors are slightly different sizes (the positive is the larger of the two) to ensure correct polarity is observed.

Made from silver-plated brass for low electrical resistance and are supplied with 25mm long M8 bolts and spring locking washers.
