The GX Tank 140 takes readings from up to four tank level sensors, serving as an accessory for Victron's range of GX system monitoring products. Tank levels can be read out locally in the system and remotely through the VRM Portal.
The unit is compatible with current senders (4 to 20 mA) and voltage senders (0 to 10 V). Connection to the GX Device is via USB, which also provides power—no additional power wires required. Two of the four inputs provide 24 V power supply to power the sender, while the other two channels require an external power supply. Upper and lower limits are configurable to accommodate senders providing only part of the scale (e.g., 0 to 5 V). Readings are averaged with configurable damping between 1 and 60 seconds. Faulty sensors and wiring issues are automatically detected with alarms raised for out-of-range values. For marine applications, tank levels can be transmitted on the NMEA 2000 network to other displays.
