The battery is housed in a fully sealed IP65-rated enclosure, protecting internal components against dust ingress and water jets from any direction. Intelligent Heating System
The integrated heating system automatically activates when temperatures drop below 5°C, enabling safe charging at 0°C and reliable operation in ambient temperatures as low as -20°C.
Plug-and-Play Inverter Compatibility
The PACE Battery Management System (BMS) contains pre-loaded inverter protocols for Victron, Pylontech, Growatt, Sofar, Solis, and Goodwe. Inverter protocol selection can be changed directly via the LCD touchscreen without the need for software downloads.

The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid.
It has all the features of the MultiPlus, plus an external current transformer option to implement PowerControl and PowerAssist and to optimize self-consumption with external current sensing (max. 32A). It also has all the features of the MultiGrid with built-in anti-islanding and an increasingly long list of country approvals.
The MultiPlus-II will prevent overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery.
The MultiPlus-II is the key component in a Victron ESS system, providing the flexibility to combine with MPPT Solar Chargers or Grid-tie PV Inverters. For examples and more detailed information see the ESS (Energy Storage System) manual.
In the event of a grid failure, or when shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter within the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.

MPPT: Ultra Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking
By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that every drop of available power is rinsed out of your panels, and harvested for storage. The Victron Cerbo is the all-new communication-centre allowing you to always have perfect control over your system from wherever you are and maximises its performance. The Lynx Distributor contains a positive and a negative busbar. The positive busbar has four fuse-protected connections with fuse monitoring. The negative busbar has four connections and a ground connection.
The fuse and cable connections are always M8. The Lynx Distributor has a power LED and four fuse status indication LEDs. If connected to a Lynx Smart BMS, up to 4 Lynx Distributors can send fuse status information to the Lynx Smart BMS. This feature is not available when connected to a Lynx Shunt VE.Can.

Victron MK3-USB Configuration Interface
The MK3-USB allows the following products to connect to a computer for configuration and firmware updates using the Victron VE Configure software
Multi, MultiGrid, MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, Quattro, Inverter/Charger settings in ECOmulti, EasySolar, EasyPlus, and other Inverters with a VE.Bus communication port.
Counsider purchasing a Cat 5 ethernet cable to go with this product if you don't already have one. You won't be able to connect the MK3 interface to an inverter product without an ethernet cable.

The VEConfigure tools are only available for Windows. For Mac, there is a (not officially supported) work around available.

The VE.Direct cable is used for comunication between Victron VE Direct devices. For example it can be used to connect a Victron battery monitor to the Victron Colour Control or to connect a Victron GlobalLink 520 to a Victron MPPT Controller that has a VE direct port.
The GX Touch wall mount accessory allows easy mounting of the GX Touch on a solid wall. No drilling or cut-out is required, other than the three screws that fix the wall mount onto the wall.
