The new Axpert VM III Twin has two separate AC outputs. The second output can be scheduled on/off, can use a cut-off voltage or SOC  and a discharging time via the LCD screen and settings.

We only sell loose orange weld cable which is better than the red or black alternatives. It's top quality tinned copper cable, you need to accept the colour of the sheath or heat shrink over it. The benefits of tinned copper is better conductivity and much great corrosion resistance for marine and mobile applications.

In addition, our battery cables are manufactured in accordance with BS 638 Part 4 & EN 50525-2-81. It has a rubber compound to achieve the 85deg temp rating to meet all the requirements of EM5, that allows the cable to achieve the increased current carrying capacity.

Inferior cable has PVC instead of rubber and can only achieve a 70deg temp rating, which suggest a reduced current carrying capacity and inability to meet EM5 standards.

Rated to 1000VDC, 32A, accepts up to 16mm² cable. For use stand alone or for incorporation into a PV combiner Box with the 13 way bus bar and feeder terminal to take off  the supply to a solar charge controller or solar inverter.

Unit best used for housing 1 x AC RCBos, string fuse holders and fuses up to 32a as opposed to DC Din Mount breakers.

Best practice would be to use this unit with no bigger than 6mm square cable and appropriately sized breakers if you are using it with glands for a water tight fit.  If you are using it in an environment that is already dry and dust free the use of glands may not be necessary.

Its robust construction makes it ideal for continuous temperature and current cycling withstand adding to system longevity. The 1000VDC rated fuse is designed for low minimum breaking capacity capabilities of 1.35 times the fuse rated current value, allows for safe circuit interruption under typical low fault current conditions produced by PV arrays.

The 10 X 38mm fuse can be used standalone with the DIN mount string fuse holder to fuse a single circuit or as a bank of fuses in a solar combiner box.
