This is a 3 phase bridge rectifier to turn the AC power from a wind / hydro turbine or Permanent Magnetic Alternator (PMA / PMG) into DC for charging batteries or putting into an MPPT.  The best way to charge your batteries from these sources is to use one of these and then have a dump load on the batteries.  To create a dump load you can use our Digital Voltage Sensing Relay and set the load to turn on when the batteries are full, then connect a dump load, like a DC water heater to the relay terminals (if using a large current draw you may have to add a large relay to turn it on rather than using the digital relay terminals directly).
