All-in-one solar power solution, 4000W inverter, 250/100 MPPT charge controller

The EasySolar-II GX combines a MPPT Solar Charge Controller, an inverter/charger and control hub in one enclosure. The product is easy to install, with a minimum of wiring.

The all-in-one solar power solution
The Victron EasySolar-II GX integrates the following elements:
• A MultiPlus-II inverter/charger
• A SmartSolar MPPT -Tr solar charge controller
• A GX device with a 2 x 16 character display.
These elements come prewired together inside a single unit. This greatly simplifies
most installations, saving time and money.

Display and wifi
The display reads battery, inverter and solar charge controller parameters.
The same parameters can be accessed with a smartphone or other wifi enabled device.
In addition, wifi can be used to set up the system and to change settings.

Solar charge controller
The DC output of the SmartSolar MPPT is parallel wired with the DC connection of the
MultiPlus-II inverter/charger.
The on/off mechanism of the MultiPlus-II also controls the SmartSolar MPPT.

GX device
The integrated GX device includes:
• A VE.Can interface. This can be used to connect to Victron VE.Can devices (e.g.
VE.Can MPPTs), or the port can be reconfigured via the Remote Console for use
with a compatible CAN-bus Li-ion Battery
• A USB port
• A Ethernet port
• A VE.Direct port
The GX device controls the MultiPlus-II and the SmartSolar MPPT with respectively a
VE.Bus and a VE.Direct connection.

The Victron VM-3P75CT energy meter is a standard device to measure the power and energy of single- and three-phase applications, for example, at the distribution box or to measure the output of a PV Inverter, AC Genset or the output of an inverter and inverter/charger.

The meter is supplied with CT clamps which have an internal diameter of 10mm. Please ensure your meter tails are able to pass through the clamps, or make provisions for downsizing the tails appropriately.

The Lynx Power In contains a positive and negative busbar with 4 connections for batteries, loads or chargers and a ground connection. The internal cable connections are M8.

Victron MK3-USB Configuration Interface

The MK3-USB allows the following products to connect to a computer for configuration and firmware updates using the Victron VE Configure software

Multi, MultiGrid, MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, Quattro, Inverter/Charger settings in ECOmulti, EasySolar, EasyPlus, and other Inverters with a VE.Bus communication port.

Counsider purchasing a Cat 5 ethernet cable to go with this product if you don't already have one. You won't be able to connect the MK3 interface to an inverter product without an ethernet cable.

The VEConfigure tools are only available for Windows. For Mac, there is a (not officially supported) work around available.

Pylon battery cable accessory kit for use with all the different battery models. Each battery unit includes the interlink battery cables for parallel connection to another battery, whereas this pack is for connecting to the inverter/charger.

Please check the number of cable packs you need, according to your inverter/charge specifications. Each cable pack is rated at 100A continuous, and 125A peak.

This cable pack includes the following cables:

2 x 2m long power cables (1x positive and 1x negative) The cables are 25mm² and have an M8 eyelet on one end of each cable.

300A Battery isolator switch, 900A for 30 secs, up to 48 Volt, M10 connection. Can be use on 12, 24 or 48 Volt system as long as switch current rating is not exceeded.

**Please note: as per the image, the switch does not come with hardware to fix the 2 sections together, and this must be purchased separately, depending on type of installation (surface mount, panel mount, etc)**

We only sell loose orange weld cable which is better than the red or black alternatives. It's top quality tinned copper cable, you need to accept the colour of the sheath or heat shrink over it. The benefits of tinned copper is better conductivity and much great corrosion resistance for marine and mobile applications.

In addition, our battery cables are manufactured in accordance with BS 638 Part 4 & EN 50525-2-81. It has a rubber compound to achieve the 85deg temp rating to meet all the requirements of EM5, that allows the cable to achieve the increased current carrying capacity.

Inferior cable has PVC instead of rubber and can only achieve a 70deg temp rating, which suggest a reduced current carrying capacity and inability to meet EM5 standards.
