The Original MC4 product portfolio now offers a PV connector with the easy-to-use snap-in technology. This PV DC connector is quick to install as it enables crimp-free assembly without the need for special tools. The reduced complexity of the assembly process allows to save time while granting Stäubli quality.

The MC4-Evo ready is mateable with the Stäubli Original MC4 product portfolio as proved by TÜV Rheinland interoperability test with triple test severity.

Safe connections: quick and easy installed

The crimp-free Original MC4-Evo ready complements the Stäubli PV DC product range of cable couplers for in-string and homerun connections. The new connector provides safe connections that are quick and easily installed for long-term reliability.

No crimping tools - Quick assembly with easy snap-in technology, Reliable connection, TÜV Rheinland certified

Product Main Features

• Crimp-free cable connection: no crimping necessary, the contact is made by an automatically closing spring clamp based on snap-in technology
• No single parts. The connectors are complete and pre-screwed: Insert the stripped PV wire, screw on the housing: done!
• Mateable with Original MC4 product portfolio

It is acceptable to hand tighten these connectors, but if you wanted to use a spanner type Staubli tool the reference is 32.6070 (MC4-MS-EVO READY) and currently you will need to source this yourself.
