The Rutland 1200 is the new generation of Marlec turbine built on the legacy of previous successful long in service models. Designed for users seeking generation capacity on land or marine applications.

This is the on land (terrain) 12V model listed here. If you are planning to use this with lithium batteries please check with the battery manufacturer to ensure compatibility. Please note the terrain version has the PV input disabled and has an uprated generator to cope with on land conditions. If you would prefer the marine version please contact us.

The Rutland 1200 combines a number of high tech features focused on quite operation, low wind speed performance and high power delivery up to 500W.

• Tri-dynamic blade degign for low wind speed start up, high wind spedd power performance and quiter operation across the power range.
• 3 phase AC power genertor minimise voltage drop from the turbine to the controller on long cable runs
• Low friction generator responses rapidly to wind speed changes
